Quality Control

Non-Destructive Tests

The aim is to increase the quality of the produced material and to detect the visible and unseen errors without harming the whole of the material. Various non-destructive tests are being carried out in the course of our company until accepting from raw material, packaging and shipment from production stage. These are the most important ones

1-) EYE INSPECTION

The parameters that affect the quality such as roughness, semi-product or discontinuity of product surface, structural defects, surface condition are to be examined using an optical aid.

2-) MAGNETIC PARTICLE INSPECTION

A magnetic field is first applied to the product subjected to the inspection, in which the cracks and holes in the surface and near the surface of the particle form a magnetizing feature. In this respect, the ferromagnetic powders poured on the piece enable to determine the position of the current discontinuity by adhering to the cracks and holes.

Mechanical Tests

Destructive examination; Drawing, pressing, bending, etc. of materials. The purpose of the destructive testing is to test the conformity of the products to customer requirements and international standards during the production and after the production with destructive tests.

1-) TENSION TEST

The hot-rolled structural steel is subjected to uniaxial tensile forces until it is broken, Yield strength, tensile strength and elongation percentage and to determine the quality of the material according to these criteria.

2-) BENDING TEST

The pipe is bent 90 ° and checked for any opening, cracking or breakage of the material.

3-) EXPANSION TEST

The mouths of the samples are expanded by means of specific openings to check whether they are opened at the source or in the material.

4-) PRACTICAL TEST

The samples taken from the pipes are flattened to the maximum extent so that the source region of the pipe is sideways and upwards and it is checked whether there is an opening in the weld or a crack in the material.
